Deep Freezing With Matt Dillion

It was a Saturday evening and it was freezing.......I walked 3 blocks to a Radio Shack and rushed back.....Coming back on the block I see Matt Dillon digging his car out of the snow.....I introduced myself, took some pictures and told him how I like his movies........I asked did he need help .....He only had one shovel.....We both agreed at how cold it was.....I was out.....Too cold for me!!!!

A few days ago I had the pleasure of meeting the Author Clarence Jones at the Harlem Library in NY. He served as speech writer and counsel to Martin Luther King, Jr., he just wrote a book called "Behind The Dream"....a look at behind-the-scenes events that led up to the writing of Martin Luther King Jr.'s immortal "I Have A Dream" speech. He talked about how he contributed to his famous speech and the circumstances leading to that day....He also talked about his relationship with Malcolm X, reparations and the state of black america today. He spoke with fire and conviction....Like a man that truly cared about his people....
